What is the role….

Working closely with other Ecologists and Environmental Professionals to successfully complete projects from medium to large scale in a range of areas.

Who Should Apply….

The successful candidate will have experience as a practicing ecologist in the UK, a relevant graduate degree and be a member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. A postgraduate qualification and consultancy experience would be an advantage.

You should have some or all of the following skills and experience;

Phase 1 and 2 habitat survey, protected species license, plants, invertebrates, , birds and mammals, public inquiry, monitoring, translocation, habitat management, restoration and creation, project management, business development and marketing.

A demonstrable ability to write surveys and reports and a comprehensive understanding of wildlife legislation and other relevant legislation and regulations are essential.

Future Opportunities…

There is potential to develop within ecology and the broader environmental business stream. This may include specializing in an ecological/environmental area, project management or people management.
