Senior Consultant -
Water Resources Engineer/Hydrologist



Due to an increasing work demand Atmos Consulting are seeking to recruit a talented individual with a well-rounded background in water resource assessment and management, to support a range of hydrological project work and help increase the profile of our water resources services. Current projects includes supporting EIA and non EIA projects for both the renewables and non renewables sectors.

The Senior Consultant for the position should be educated to at least a degree level in a suitable civil engineering or scientific/technical area with at least 5 years experience in water resources related consultancy/regulation. Ideally experience would incorporate some/all of the following sectors/areas:

  • Flood Risk Assessment;
  • Permitting and Regulation (including CAR Licensing);
  • Hydrological Assessment;
  • Resource Management;
  • Water Footprinting;
  • Drainage Assessment and Design; and
  • Regulatory liaison.

In addition to technical skills the individual must have excellent written and oral communication skills, experience of proposal writing/project budgets, project management, team working abilities, enjoy both client facing and technical delivery roles, with aspects of business development included.
