Lecturer in Environmental Management




Lecturer Grade B: £31,818 - £40,789 p.a.



As part of our continued expansion, we invite applications for the post of Lecturer in Environmental Management to contribute to teaching and research in this growth area within the School. The School has excellent facilities for field and laboratory research and established links with the Environment Agency, the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, and many other organisations active in the sector.

Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas; environmental management systems; environmental impact analysis; biofuels and renewable energy sources; waste management and life cycle analysis.

The appointee will be expected to show evidence of achievements in or outstanding potential for original research and willingness to engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research initiatives. It is the intention of the School to seek professional accreditation for its environmental degree programmes, and the appointee should either have such accreditation or be in a position to attain this with appropriate guidance.

Interviews will be held on Friday 11th of July 2008.

The successful candidate will be expected to be in post on or before 1st October 2008.
