Cambridge C-CLEAR NERC DTP PhD Studentships
Starting in October 2019
The Cambridge Climate Life and Earth (C-CLEAR) NERC DTP provides PhD training across NERC science. Embedded in the outstanding research environment of the University of Cambridge and the British Antarctic Survey (BAS), it is organised around three major research themes: Biology and Conservation, Climate Change and Environmental Processes and Solid Earth and Geological Hazards.
The Cambridge ESS DTP is offering at least 12 fully-funded PhD studentships to start in October 2019. Hosting partners in Cambridge are:
Students in the C-CLEAR cohort engage in research projects of global significance across NERC science, and receive high-quality training in research, professional, technical and transferable skills through a focused core programme. Training is guided by personalised advice and the expertise of a network of partners in industry, government, the third sector and beyond.

UK and EU students who meet the UKRI residency requirements will be eligible for a full NERC studentship. Students from EU countries who do not meet the residency requirements may still be eligible for a fees-only award.
