It's our job to meet these challenges through regulation of water abstraction, environmental monitoring and working closely with the water industry. As a key member of our Regional Environmental Planning team (Water Resources), you'll be at the centre of strategic planning and the delivery of sustainable solutions for water resources management. Liaising with water companies on their new statutory obligations will be a big part of the role, giving you the scope to develop your technical expertise and influencing skills, together with your financial know-how and project management experience. Ideally a graduate in a relevant discipline and some practical experience in this field, you'll need good analytical, organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of GIS tools would be useful.
