The IIC's mission is to promote economic development in its regional developing member countries by fostering the establishment, growth, and modernization of private enterprises, with a focus on small and medium-sized companies. The IIC is committed to sustainable development and good governance as reflected in the IIC's Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy (effective September 1, 2013). This is achieved through promoting good practice standards and supporting clients to manage risk, improve development outcomes of projects financed and add value to client's businesses. The IIC is seeking to strengthen its team of environmental/social specialists through the recruitment of an Environmental Senior Specialist to support IIC's operations in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
