James Cook University (JCU) Townsville are seeking a Lecturer, Environmental Earth Sciences to join the College of Science and Engineering on a full time and continuing basis (Academic Level B $94,056 - $110,981 plus 17% superannuation).
What you can accomplish in the role
The Lecturer, Environmental Earth Sciences undertakes teaching and research within the Earth and Environmental Sciences academic group, in addition to providing administrative, outreach and marketing services for the Group and the university.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ambition to develop and deliver teaching and strategic, world-class research programs and portfolios across quaternary landscape development and processes, climate science, natural hazards, and environmental science, as applied to the tropics. Capacity to develop effective interdisciplinary collaborations, industry engagement and international partnerships with other universities are also inherent to the position.
