Natural Resource Market Manager

position of Natural Resource Market Manager.

computers, and we are looking for an energetic, driven individual to strengthen our natural resource
solution offering. The right candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leadership, excellent
analytical skills, great business sense, the power of persuasion, and will be well-connected in the
natural resource industry; particularly in the area of forestry.
As Natural Resource Market Manager, your primary goal will be to develop new business as well as
expand existing business in the natural resources market by developing both short and long term
plans to support revenue and market share in the industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide product and market vision within Juniper Systems and the natural resources industry
- Develop, manage and deliver a comprehensive solution strategy in the natural resource vertical market
- Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and market factors in the industry to capitalize on market opportunities in the domain
- Collaborate with business partners to recruit, develop and maintain partner channels to ensure the delivery of solutions to the natural resources sector
- Work closely with product development, sales and marketing to provide domain expertise,support and guidance
Qualified candidates should have:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in natural resources, business or a related field.
- A minimum of five years experience in market management and/or product management for natural resource market segments
- Excellent communication and networking skills. Ability to communicate the value of solutions to key decision makers, executive level management as well as develop productive relationships with technical staff
- Hands-on experience with rugged handhelds in a natural resources environment strongly preferred
- Experience working across disciplines and across teams to drive feature development
- Minimum of two years experience using mapping- or survey-grade GPS
- Minimum of two years experience working in forestry, or a closely related industry
