Lecturer - Environmental Management



Grade 8: £31,798 - £36,962 per annum

The Division of Geography and Environmental Management at Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the largest of its kind in the country, contributing to the teaching of over 700 students on very successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We have a vigorous outward looking philosophy, maintaining close links with a variety of external organisations, and have gained a reputation as a centre of excellence. We highly value research and enterprise and were very successful in the most recent RAE exercise.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Environmental Management whose teaching can contribute to our longstanding successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and whose research and enterprise interests complement those of existing staff across the School of Science and the Environment. The successful candidate will join staff with expertise in environmental management, sustainable development and environmental policy. Candidates with expertise in organisational responses to sustainable development, stakeholder-informed policy development and implementation, carbon management and/or green energy are particularly encouraged to apply.

Candidates should possess a PhD and relevant experience. Ideally, candidates will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels and be able to contribute to the excellent research and enterprise profile of the School.
