Project Manager: ERMITAGE Project

We are looking for a Project Manager for a seven-partner, EU-funded sustainability modelling project being co-ordinated by The Open University. As well as managing the overall project you will contribute directly to research on land use-climate interactions and the sustainability of land and water use, using an integrated modelling framework to assess energy and economic policy options and writing up results for peer-reviewed journals.
You will be an enthusiastic and committed individual with experience of project management in the context of large collaborative projects, and of writing significant reports or research articles. You will have a degree, preferably a PhD, in Environmental Sciences or a related subject, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a complex workload and deliver results on schedule. Ideally, you will have research experience in the field of global change/sustainability or environmental modelling, and be a fluent speaker of French and/or German.
