As Environmental Advisor your main responsibilities will include

• Provide support and advice throughout the organisation on all environmental issues
• Enhance management systems, processes and procedures for effective control of environmental activities in UK Operations
• Establish the practice and culture of continuous improvement through auditing and goal setting
• Engage with operations to establish management strategies for key environmental issues
• Liaise with the regulatory authorities and the environmental function in other companies
• Manage environmental auditing and monitoring activities
• Coordination and management of environmental permits and consents and engagement with operations to assure compliance
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of current Environmental legislation and corporate standards
• Participation in the Emergency Response Team
• Liaise with regulators DECC and SEPA, industry colleagues, partners, specialist providers, local authorities, Non Government Environmental Organisations

Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications:

• Relevant degree or post graduate diploma in environmental discipline
• Similar experience in an Environmental Management role within the Oil & Gas industry
• This is being offered as either a permanent or contract role
