Lecturer In Environmental Sustainability

School of Construction Management and Engineering



This appointment is full-time, permanent
Grade 7 - £33,432 to £44,930 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic research-active Lecturer who can enhance and complement existing expertise in the area of environmental sustainability in the built environment.

You will need an existing track record of research with publications, or concomitant industry experience.

You will have:

  • experience of research initiation and management or relevant industry experience in the area
  • a doctorate in environmental sustainability or related area (near completion is acceptable)
  • broad knowledge of energy sources and carbon management issues, especially relating to the impact of energy on design and use of built environment
  • experience of industry-orientated research in the UK context, especially in terms of strategy
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • commitment to developing a wide publication profile

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a University environment.
