Programme Co-Ordinator (GEMS/Water Capacity Development Centre)
Specific Purpose Whole Time Post (anticipated duration of 12 months)
Applications are invited for the post of Programme Co-ordinator in the UN Environment GEMS/Water Capacity Development Centre, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences. This is a specific purpose whole-time post reporting to the Director. The appointee will be required to support the delivery and administration of a number of part-time, professional, training and education programmes, most of which are delivered on-line to international students from all global regions. The ideal candidate will therefore have proven ability through administrative experience of an appropriate nature, including interacting with mature students and engaging with key stakeholders. Relevant experience in a higher education setting is highly desirable as this role will involve upholding academic standards for all assigned programmes, as well as contributing to training workshops and the academic research output of the Centre. Please note that Garda vetting and/or an international police clearance check may form part of the selection process.

Appointment may be made on the Salary Scale: €31,456 - €44,942(Scale B)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
