Job Description
This company is looking for experienced CAD Technicians to undertake CAD
activities within their Rail Division, to support Permanent Way Designers in the
delivery of their design work.
Key Deliverables
- Provision of technical assistance and support to the Permanent Way design
team
- Providing a technical contribution to the team's engineering design work
- Providing CAD support across the Division as and when required
Qualifications and Experience
- HND qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering-related discipline
- Strong related design experience using rail alignment design software
(e.g. MX Rail, Microstation, InRail, Autocad) preferably with gained working
on programme-driven projects
- Experience working on Network Rail and/or other major heavy or light rail
jobs across the UK is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
