Job Description

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy is
looking to recruit a Senior or Principal Ecological Consultant to join the busy,
expanding Ecology team in the Warrington office.
About the Role
- Provide consultancy services to new and existing clients
- Manage multi-disciplinary and environmental planning projects
- Assist in the growth and development of more junior members of staff and
the team as a whole, including mentoring and training
- Be involved in Business Development activities
About You
- Be degree educated in a relevant discipline
- Ideally have a second or Master’s degree
- Be a member of IEEM
- Have strong botanical field skills, experience of protected species
surveys, and will preferably hold licences, including EPS disturbance licences.
- Be able to manage large, high-profile ecology projects
- Be responsible for tendering projects
- Previous experience of managing teams of people
- Knowledge of UK legislation and planning
- Full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills
