Job Description
:
A Senior Geotechnical Designer is required to join the Geotechnical Team in
the Warrington office of a multinational, multidisciplinary consultancy and
report to the head of the Geotechnical Division for the North West. You will be
working in a robust, vibrant environment and be well placed to further your
career.
About the Role
- Liaising closely with various departments, clients and colleagues
- Site inspections, assessments & surveys
- Briefs for geotechnical investigation
- Design planning & programming
- Report writing
- You will be working on a variety of projects, which could include large
scale residential, basement, pile, slope and retaining wall design or highways
- Placement of orders with designers
- Managing workloads and ensuring targets are met
About You
- Degree educated in a Civil Engineering, Geotechnical or Environmental
discipline or similar. A relevant Master’s degree or Chartered status is
highly advantageous
- You will need to have extensive experience of similar projects
- The ability to manage your own and colleague’s work load while adhering to
guidelines and strict deadlines.
- You will be comfortable in a client facing role and be able to liaise with
people of all levels and backgrounds.
