Job Description

A leading engineering, design, environmental and transport consultancy with
offices across the UK is looking to recruit a Landfill Design Engineer to join
the Geotechnics team and help fulfil many high value projects.
About the Role
- Be involved in design covering things such as landfill lining, capping and
restoration systems
- CQA Testing
- Geotechnical knowledge and experience
- Full project life-cycle involvement, including initial brief, construction
and finishing
About You
- Be experienced, ideally chartered level, civil, geotechnical or
environmental engineers
- Be familiar with landfill legislation and industry wide issues.
- The ability to take ownership of a project
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Experience of client liaison, project delivery and problem solving.
- Commercially aware
- Have a satisfactory track record of dealing with the Environment Agency
and waste management clients.
