Job Description

A leading engineering, design, environmental and transport consultancy with
offices across the UK is looking to recruit a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer
to join the existing and expanding team in one of the North West offices.
About the Role
- Be a key member of the team and lead the development of the team and
workload in regeneration
- Undertake investigations, sampling and testing
- Take supervisory responsibility for desk studies, site investigation, site
supervision, monitoring of ground investigation.
- Prepare basic interpretations
- Preparation of conceptual risk assessments and models, including
quantitative risk assessments
- Calculations and prepare design drawings.
- Interpretative report writing
About You
- BSc educated in Engineering Geology, Geology or Civil Engineering
- Ideally you will be MSc educated in a relevant discipline with being
Chartered a distinct advantage
- Strong experience in a similar role. Ideally with a UK consultancy
although candidates with a specialist contractor would be considered
- Experience of a range of geotechnical engineering design solutions for a
variety of projects
- Experience of quantitative risk assessment.
- Ability to deliver projects successfully within set deadlines.
- Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Capable of leading a geo-environmental team.
- Ability to mentor more junior staff
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
