Job Description

A leading engineering, design and environmental engineering consultant
requires a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their busy and expanding team in
the Warrington branch. This role comes with excellent promotional prospects.
About the Role
- Design and management of ground investigations, preparation of desk
studies and interpretative reporting
- Foundation design and slope stability assessments
- Projects include rail, highways, infrastructure and development with
clients including developers, major contractors, the Highways Agency, major
infrastructure suppliers and Network Rail.
- Training and support of more junior team members
- Project management
- Liaison with clients
About You
- Degree in geology, engineering geology, or civil engineering
- MSc/MEng in geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, soil mechanics,
foundation engineering or similar would be desirable
- Working knowledge of relevant British Standards
- Good interpretative reporting and geotechnical design skills
- Excellent communication skills
- UK driving licence
- Some knowledge of contaminated land would be an advantage
