Within the School of Environmental, Regional and Educational Sciences, established in late 2007, the new position will be the first chair in the Department of Systems Sciences, Innovation and Sustainability Research. Responsibilities: Coordination and direction of activities in research and teaching related to systems sciences, in particular of those activities related to the interdisciplinary study programme in environmental systems sciences. This programme is unique in Austria. Particular focus needs to be placed on the following areas of competence:
Prerequisites: Completion of a PhD degree or equivalent and relevant teaching experience. In addition, management competence in gender mainstreaming is expected. The University of Graz wishes to raise its share of female employees, particularly those in higher positions. Women are thus strongly encouraged to apply.
