We are seeking an enthusiastic, career-minded individual to join our small but dynamic team as a Community Forester. Working on our exciting Wood Allotments programme supported by The Woodland Trust, for the right candidate this represents an opportunity to start a rewarding long-term career with a supportive employer offering lots of development opportunity.

You will have experience of successfully managing community projects and working effectively with a range of organisations. You will also have good understanding of sound forestry practice and be able to support community groups and work with land owners to develop Wood Allotment projects.

This post is employed through Community Forest Trust - working as part of The Mersey Forest Team and based at Risley Moss, Warrington. There will also be opportunity for you to work across The Mersey Forest.

Salary: 24,174

Closing date: 12 noon Friday 30 June 2017. Provisional interview date: Friday 14 July.
