Woodmark Certification Manager's role is to deliver certification services and develop business within Asia and the Pacific. This involves working with a range of clients and partner organisations. A confident knowledge of the forestry and/or timber sector, FSC certification and business development skills are sought. Fluency in English is required and additional language skills e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, Indonesian are an advantage.

Background
EcoSylva Ltd was established in 1999 to promote responsible forest management practices and support forest certification to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards worldwide. EcoSylva has its registered office in South Wales. The company delivers the Woodmark FSC certification programme of the Soil Association (FSC-ACC-002) and shares office accommodation with the Soil Association in Bristol. EcoSylva has been developing and expanding its activity over the last few years in line with increased global demand for FSC certification. The company currently employs ten professional staff, some of whom work from home, we also work in partnership with other individuals and organisations worldwide. The company has identified a role for additional input into programme development in the Asia Pacific region. Woodmark have issued FSC certificates in Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands. Developmental work has been carried out in India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
