Lectureship in Physical Geography

This post is based in the School of Geographical Sciences and is available for ten months. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in biogeochemical processes in the cryosphere. You will have demonstrable experience in teaching and an emerging international reputation for research (or will be able to demonstrate a capacity to build such a reputation). You will be required to teach glacier hydrology and hydrochemistry to the physical geography teaching programme, including supervision of undergraduate dissertations and tutorials. In addition, you will be encouraged to develop your own research agenda and participate in the full range of activities in the School. It is expected that this appointment will commence on 1 September 2010.
