Lecturer in Physical GeographyConfirmation Path (tenure track)This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding department focused on addressing human-environment interactions of local, regional and global importance. The Department is seeking applicants with outstanding potential in research and teaching in Physical Geography. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in either biogeography or hydrology (for the latter interest we are particularly interested in water quality issues). For this new position the successful applicant must have a PhD in Geography, and some experience in teaching Physical Geography. We are looking for an individual to provide a high quality teaching and learning experience, that will inspire student achievement and lead to the development of a strong postgraduate research programme. Excellent skills in organisation, presentation, and oral and written communication are essential. The successful applicant is expected to have a good research record, an ability to successfully apply for research funding and the ability to supervise postgraduate students.
