Lecturer in GeographySchool of Earth and Environmental SciencesLevel B (Fixed term 5 years)The School of Earth & Environmental Sciences has research and teaching strengths across geology, human and physical geography, and the environmental and archaeological sciences. We are seeking an enthusiastic geographer with specialist expertise in an area of human-environment interactions, as well as a willingness to work in a multidisciplinary environment. Related expertise could include environmental management, environmental planning and policy, cultural environmental research, heritage and/or biogeography. To be successful you will have a PhD in geography or a related field. You will be able to demonstrate your capacity for high quality teaching, and be able to foster and supervise postgraduate research. You will have demonstrated research excellence in an area that complements existing expertise, and the ability to obtain research funding.
