Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (2) in Petroleum EngineeringReference: ENG039AThe School of Engineering at the University of Aberdeen is expanding its range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes while continuing to deliver world-class fundamental and applied research. Two Lecturer/Senior Lecturers are sought to contribute to research and teaching in Petroleum Engineering. We invite applications from Engineers or Applied Scientists whose research and teaching interests lie in the broad area of Petroleum Engineering. You will be a dynamic individual with a clear ability for leading research in your field. You will have excellent communication skills and the desire and ability to teach well across the undergraduate years. You will join a research-intensive General Engineering unit, which had 83% of its research output ranked as world leading or internationally excellent in the 2008 UK Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008). With the University located at the centre of the North Sea's oil and gas industry, excellent opportunities exist for research with industry and with colleagues in Engineering and the School of Geosciences.
