There is a potential commitment to reservoir and seal characterisation and stratigraphy under the CO2CRC, depending on the skills of the successful candidate.

To be successful in this role you should have an internationally recognised track record of scholarly work, the ability to secure external funding for research from a variety of sources, and also the ability to supervise Honours and PhD students and teach high quality sedimentary geology courses.

For appointment as a Senior Lecturer (Level C), in addition to the above, you should have a strong publication record in international peer-reviewed journals, and a demonstrated ability to attract external and industry funding for applied and fundamental research projects.
