Analytical Geochemistry Team Leader

Geoscience Australia (GA) has an opportunity for an Analytical Geochemist in a Team Leader role. You will lead a small team focussed on whole rock geochemistry analyses using XRF (X-ray fluorescence), XRD (X-ray diffraction), and ICPMS (Inductively Couple Plasma Mass Spectrometry) techniques and water analysis via a variety of hydrochemistry techniques including ICP-OES (Inductively Couple Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, and titration. You will have responsibility to manage workloads in the team and liaise with other laboratory areas and clients. You will also have responsibility for leading the continuing review and improvement of quality managements systems across the laboratory aiming toward ISO17025 standards.
