Bedrock Mapping Geologist for
the Alaska Division of Geological Geophysical Surveys
The Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys is seeking a full-time, permanent geologist to join our bedrock mapping team. Experience mapping in igneous and metamorphic rocks, structurally complex settings, and mineral districts is highly desirable, as well as the ability to use GIS to manage geologic data and generate maps. The position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska. Application period ends June 8, 2009, but may be extended if needed. The State of Alaska is an EEO/ADA employer.
