Post-Doctoral position in Thermochronology
The Department of Geosciences is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in thermochronology starting in January 2019. The candidate will work on existing and new projects in the general fields of thermochronology and tectonics-climate-erosion and on technique development. The ideal candidate will have a background in fission track and other low-T thermochronological techniques. Experience with numerical modeling will be advantageous. Candidates are expected to help manage the fission track laboratory in the Department of Geosciences, supervise students, establish new independent research and apply for research funds. A PhD in Earth Sciences is required at the time of the appointment.
