Post-doctoral Researcher - Fluvial Sedimentology
and Stratigraphy

We are seeking a post-doc with experience in fluvial sedimentology and stratigraphy for an 18-month to 2+ year project examining Lower Cretaceous strata in Alberta, Canada. The data set includes core and abundant subsurface data. The project is aimed at providing a detailed reservoir characterization of the fluvial deposits and will include depositional and stratigraphic reconstructions. In addition, several new analytical techniques will be used to assess smaller-scale reservoir heterogeneities.
The project is fully funded for at least 18 months and will likely be extended further.
Salary will be ample and commensurate with quality of the applicant.
