Research Facility Manager
We are seeking a Senior Technical Officer to provide technical support and analytical development in our state-of-the-art MC-ICPMS isotope geochemistry laboratories. These class 1000 clean laboratories host two Thermo Neptune Plus Instruments, one Nu Instruments MC-ICP-MS and one Thermo Element XR. The role of the successful applicant will include:
The successful applicant would be expected to have comprehensive knowledge of multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (or equivalent) and experience working in clean laboratories.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be well organised and flexible in their approach, and be able to work on their own initiative. They should have experience of working in a research environment and hold a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
