The Department of Geology of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile has opened contest for three full time (44 hrs.) academic positions. These positions are for tenure track and involve strong commitment in research and teaching, both at undergraduate and graduate levels. The selected candidates are expected to participate and lead basic and applied research projects as well as build a vigorous externally-funded research program.
The positions open for contest are in:
- Geology (code FM-1701): Sedimentology / Sedimentary Petrology
- Geology (code FM-1702): Low temperature thermocronology and applications in geology
- Geology (code FM-1703): Economic geology / Ore deposit metallogenesis (preferably Andean)
