The position
Your professional expertise and experience is required to undertake geoscience studies including field mapping, compiling and editing geoscience data for publication of maps, reports and data, and to plan and organise geoscience studies and fieldwork. You will also be required to supervise and monitor support and field staff and to assist with the training and development, as well as provide geoscientific leadership to less experienced staff.
Job Requirements/Capabilities
To undertake this role successfully you require
- Bachelor of Science (Geoscience) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Geoscience)
- Experience in geoscience studies including field mapping, and a demonstrated ability to compile quality, comprehensive reports and maps to publication standard.
- Experience in working with geosciences databases and GIS
- Current drivers licence
