The Department of Geology, Faculty of Physics and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile invites for applications for two full time (44 hrs.) Assistant Professor level tenure track positions, one in the field of Marine Geology and Antarctic Geology and one in the field of Remote Sensing, Geodesy and Numerical Modelling.

The successful candidates should have at the time of appointment a PhD degree in geology or a related area, experience in teaching and a proven track of academic excellence in the field of application. The candidate should be creative, communicative and show willingness to cooperate within multidisciplinary national and international research groups.
