Geochemist-Modeler
Geomega, Inc., an environmental consulting firm in Boulder, Colorado, is looking for a Geochemist-Modeler with special skills in low temperature systems and numerical modeling.
General Qualifications:
- PhD. in Geochemistry, Earth Sciences or other relevant field.
- Have a comfortable working knowledge in:
- geochemistry/chemistry of low-temperature fluid-solid systems including equilibrium, kinetics and mineral surface chemistry
- geochemical modeling (EQ3/6, PHREEQC, or GWB)
- Have an enthusiastic approach to the application of the science to industry problems.
- Geochemical/Chemical Analysis and Interpretation
- Computer programming.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of in-house equilibrium and kinetic geochemical software.
- The candidate must assist in the geochemical/chemical analysis, modeling, and interpretation of mining-related projects.
