The University of Glasgow, a world top-100 University and member of the prestigious Russell Group of leading UK research-intensive universities, is seeking to appoint a Professor who will provide outstanding academic leadership, to further enhance the School's international profile in Earth Systems research by:

  • Building an internationally leading research group;
  • Delivering research-led education; and
  • Leading academic developments in the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences and College of Science & Engineering administration

The successful applicant will lead, maintain and expand high-quality research at an international level of excellence; provide academic leadership in developing and enhancing the research profile of the School and contribute actively to the planning, organisation and delivery of teaching at all levels alongside the University of Glasgow's wish to promote and grow a multidisciplinary research portfolio.
