Research Associate and Lecturer in Mineralogy / Hydrogeochemistry



The Institute of Applied Geosciences at Graz University of Technology invites applications for a full-time Research Associate and Lecturer in Mineralogy / Hydrogeochemistry for 6 years at the earliest by October 1, 2009.

In particular, it would be very desirable to have special experiences on mineralogical and geochemical analyses (e.g. microprobe, ICP-MS) and modelling approaches. Profound knowledge on water-rock-interactions and experimental geochemistry at low-temperature are greatly appreciated. The successful applicant will participate on interdisciplinary academic and applied research projects and will teach courses for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Mineralogy and Hydrogeochemistry as a Junior Lecturer. Ph.D. degree in Geosciences or an allied discipline is required. Female scientists are strongly encouraged to apply.
