The Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) is a Division of the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) and is the public custodian of the State's geological knowledge which it continuously expands and updates.

As the successful applicant of this position, you will undertake computer processing of airborne geophysical and other geoscience data for internal and external use, using industry standard systems; develop and maintain geophysical data bases; and carry out geophysical data searches as required.

To undertake this role you will have a Bachelor of Science (Geoscience) or approved equivalent degree, and demonstrated experience in: geophysical data processing; the management of digital databases; and in planning, implementation and interpretation of geophysical surveys.
