Teaching Consultant in the Department of Earth Sciences(Ref.: 201101026)Applications are invited for appointment as Teaching Consultant in the Department of Earth Sciences, from January 1, 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a one-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Science or related subjects, with some teaching experience. Candidates should have a background, and/or be able to demonstrate teaching proficiency, in Environmental Science. The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate Environmental Science courses; supervising undergraduate laboratory classes; assisting teaching staff in curriculum development; and other teaching-related activities, such as liaising with undergraduates in Environmental Science major, and leading the promotion and student recruitment activities.
