Post-Doc Research positions in Geosciences
Applications are invited for five temporary posts at Post Doc Research Fellow Level 1 within the Irish Centre for Research in Applied Geosciences (iCRAG). The projects will conducted at University College Dublin in the UCD School of Earth Sciences. iCRAG brings together a team of researchers representing the full geosciences spectrum with a clear focus on the economic impact of the wider geosciences sector. The centre performs research in the fields of environmental geosciences, geotechnical engineering, groundwater, hazards, hydrocarbons, marine and raw materials, together with enabling and supporting research in geophysics, geochemistry, 3D modelling and Public perception/understanding. Spanning all of the main universities and research institutions performing geoscience in Ireland, iCRAG brings together Ireland’s leading geoscience experts to perform world class research across the broad range of applied geosciences. The Centre is administered in UCD and represents a collaboration between UCD, TCD, DCU, DIAS, NUIG, NUIM, Teagasc and UCC, and a variety of domestic and international industry partners. iCRAG is funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and co funded under the European Regional Development Fund together with industry partners.All 5 Post Doctoral positions are Fixed term posts until 31 Dec. 2020 with salaries of €37,874 per annum.
