Overview: Carbonate sediments, rocks, and reservoirs Post-Doctoral Position. The Kansas Interdisciplinary Carbonates Consortium (KICC) is an industry-funded program based in the Department of Geology at the University of Kansas. The consortium funds basic and applied research on carbonate sediments, rocks and reservoirs. The KU consortium research team currently has 18 professional geologists, reservoir engineers, geophysicists, geochemists, geobiologists and approximately 25 graduate students. The successful applicant will devote approximately 85% time conducting research relevant to KICC objectives and 15% time to KICC operations. The position reports to three KICC Principal Investigators.
Salary: $52,000 per year.
