Lecturer



The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Kentucky seeks to appoint a Lecturer, beginning in August, 2009, for the academic year 2009-2010. The Lecturer will be eligible for re-appointment for successive one-year terms. The area of teaching will be primarily in introductory-level courses in environmental geology, natural resources, and natural hazards. Preference will be given to an applicant who can also effectively teach an introductory-level course in oceanography, as well as a course in historical geology. The Ph.D. degree must be completed before the starting date of the appointment.
