Kyoto University invites applications for a visiting faculty in volcanology, geothermal sciences and related disciplines. The successful applicant is expected to work at Aso Volcanological Laboratory or Beppu Geothermal Research Laboratory, Kyushu, Japan.

Attractive salary and traveling expenses are provided. The position is opened at October 1, 2012, and the tenure is 3 to 12 months. The applicant should be 64 years old or younger on October 1, 2012.
