Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Sedimentology

Salary: Level B AUD98,775 - AUD117,290 per annum or Level C AUD120,993 - AUD139,510 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. Level of appointment is subject to qualification and experience.

Exciting new opportunity within the School of Earth Sciences for a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill a continuing teaching and research position in the area of sedimentology and related paleoclimate / paleoenvironmental science.

You will be expected to undertake individual research, supervise research students, and teach and administer components of the School's Geology undergraduate and graduate programs. Initially this role will be research focused for a period of five years then move into a Teaching and Research position.

The successful candidate will be appointed at either Academic Level B or Level C dependent upon the Selection Panel's assessment of the individual's application.
