We anticipate new opportunities for M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies in the Dept. of Earth Sciences, with enrollment for the 2018-2019 academic year. Successful applicants will join our existing team of students and collaborating faculty engaged in integrated field and analytical studies of hydrothermal ore deposits. Prospective students with a strong background in mineralogy, geochemistry and structural geology are particularly encouraged to apply.
Previous experience with one or more techniques for instrumental microanalysis would be an asset, especially for candidates interested in M.Sc. projects in Applied Mineralogy.
Electronic applications strongly encouraged by January 15, 2018 - to facilitate full enrollment for Fall 2018. Some planned programs may involve initial field work during Summer 2018.
