Postdoctoral fellow specializing in InSAR, methodology development and modellingThe Canada Centre for Mapping and Earth Observation (Natural Resources Canada) located in Ottawa Canada is seeking a postdoctoral fellow specializing in InSAR, methodology development and modelling. We will use RADARSAT-2 and other SAR data for mapping ground deformation produced by permafrost thawing and ice loss, but also due to various seismic and volcanic activities, mining and groundwater extraction. Knowledge of advanced InSAR techniques is required. Knowledge of polarimetric SAR interferometry and ability to work under minimal supervision is desirable. Current funding is available until March 2015 and may be extended for up to three years. The application process will be handled by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) in the framework of the Visiting Fellowship in Canadian Government Laboratories Program, with salary of $47,234 per year + travel allowance for travel to Ottawa.
