Professorship/Associate Professorship in Marine Geophysics



Applications for a position as Professorship/Associate Professorship in Marine Geophysics are invited at the Petroleum Geology and Geophysics Section (PEGG) of the Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo.

The research field of the applicant should be marine geophysics covering one or more of the following themes: (1) Formation and evolution of continental margins and oceans, (2) Tectono-magmatic processes related to continental breakup and initial sea floor spreading, (3) Plate tectonic reconstructions and conjugate margins studies, (4) Integrated analysis of seismic and potential field data (deep crustal structure), (5) Tectonic/geodynamic modelling.
