Lecturer in Structural Geology and Tectonics

Plymouth University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in the area of Structural Geology and Tectonics, to join one of the most successful Earth Science groups in the UK and complement our existing strengths in this field.

Applicants should have a track record of active research in structural geology and tectonics, and a publications profile consistent with Research Excellence Framework 3* and 4* grade definitions. The successful applicant will be part of the Centre for Research in Earth Sciences (http://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/cres) and will benefit from an environment that promotes high quality, novel and interdisciplinary research.

In addition to a focus on research, you will also contribute to teaching in Structural Geology and Tectonics and general Earth Science (including fieldwork).

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week and is fixed term for a period of 3 years.
