Postdoctoral / Senior Researcher - seismic full waveform inversion
The Department of Geosciences at Princeton University has an opening for a postdoctoral or more senior researcher in the area of seismic full waveform inversion (FWD) applied to medical imaging and nondestructive testing.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geosciences or related field. The research will focus on developing FWD for ultrasonic medical imaging and nondestructive testing based on fully 3D forward and adjoint simulations of seismic wave propagation on graphics cards. The position is available for one year, with a possibility for renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding.
